English-Russian hockey glossary

Recently worked on a Russian hockey translation. For this project I prepared a Russian hockey glossary based on the Wikipedia article and Sochi-2014 terminology glossary. The file contains about 250 words and phrases that are widely used by players, coaches and fans.  I used this Russian hockey glossary in many translation and interpreting assignments, so I can say for sure that all terms included are accurate and correct.

From now on, the glossary in PDF format is available for purchase for a small fee of $5.99. Please click the button below to complete the purchase – the checkout will be securely processed by Paypal. After the payment is cleared, you will be able to download the glossary file.

Exchanging links with translation colleagues

I am willing to consider link exchange offers with my fellow translators working in all language pairs except for English to Russian and English to Belarusian (I reserve these for myself, sorry :)). Generally I accept link exchange offers only from websites with the page rank of 3 or higher (check more details here), though I am always ready to make an exception for any websites with relevant and interesting content related to translation business. Please post your offers in comments here or contact me directly.

Finished a huge job

Just finished a large translation project (English to Russian localization of software manuals and user guides, 200K+ words in total). Feel both tired and satisfied with the job done. Definitely need some rest and… looking forward to some interesting and rewarding translation tasks!
