ICBC Translation Procedure

• Translation and Video Verification: Once the translation is ready, we schedule a video call via Zoom, WhatsApp, or another app. During the call, I will visually verify the original document against the scanned copy. This step ensures ICBC that the translation is accurate and that you possess the original document.
• Translation Delivery: ICBC prefers the original completed translation form to be brought to the office, but emailed copies are accepted. You may also pick up a hard copy in person or have it mailed to you by regular mail or courier.
• Customer’s Next Steps: Print the translation and the electronic copy of the original document. Bring both along with your original document to the ICBC Driver Licensing office for verification. Note that ICBC will not accept electronic copies on a phone.
